Managing Anxiety and Stress

Anxiety and stress are familiar states that everyone experiences from time to time. Emotional symptoms of stress and anxiety include anger, fear, restlessness, worry, indecisiveness, and sadness.


There are also physical symptoms that can be induced by anxiety and stress. For example:


  • Heart palpitations
  • Panic attacks
  • Pain in the shoulders, neck, throat, arms, head, chest, and stomach
  • Irritable skin conditions
  • Constipation or diarrhoea


In the medical arena, medication is often the main intervention used, but it addresses only the symptoms, whereas a hypnotic approach deals with the cause. Because hypnosis helps you to relax, it’s an excellent tool in identifying strategies for anxiety reduction that feel natural to you.
